For this enchanting summer concert Guildford Choral, under the baton of renowned Musical Director and conductor Jonathan Willcocks, will join forces with Southern Pro Musica Brass, soprano soloist Susanna MacRae and organist Michael Waldron.

There’ll be great choral classics to be enjoyed in the generous acoustic of Guildford’s Holy Trinity Church, including music by Mendelssohn, Parry, Fauré and Rachmaninov.

The major work concluding this concert will be Mack Wilberg’s Tres Cantus Laudendi, or Three Songs of Praise. This piece, composed in 1990, is for chorus, brass, organ and percussion with texts based on the Psalms.

This concert is part of the Guildford Summer Festival.
