In the last musical event of the JAM on the Marsh 2019 festival, we celebrate the 70th anniversary of the UK’s finest chamber orchestra, London Mozart Players. We also welcome back to the festival one of the UK’s most successful composers, Paul Mealor, as we give only the second performance of his 2nd Symphony ‘Sacred Places’. This deeply moving piece is scored for strings, percussion and piano. The London Mozart Players make a welcome return to New Romney, and are joined by the wonderful pianist, Anna Tilbrook, making her festival debut. Also includes a world premiere by Kent composer, James Aburn.
