Following an inspiring performance of Bach Magnificat in Chichester Cathedral, the singers of Nos Miseri Homines are once again joining instrumental ensemble three parts vied for Reflections - a series of concerts for Lent. Featuring outstanding instrumentalists and singers performing powerful and evocative music in beautiful surroundings.

For the opening concert, NMH perform Victoria’s final, poignant work, which has been described as the masterpiece of the Spanish Renaissance. Beautiful plainchant melodies are woven throughout the work - either exposed by a solo voice or wrapped in sumptuous choral writing to create a work of mesmering beauty, which will ring around the staggering acoustic of St Paul’s Church. Set alongside two other masterpieces by JS Bach - in particular his monumental eight-part motet, Komm, Jesu, komm - an uplifting plea for the coming of Jesus.
