  1. Symphonic Dances Op 45 - Sergey Rachmaninov
  2. Concerto for Harp - Alberto Ginastera
  3. Danzón No 2 - Arturo Márquez

Natalia Luis-Bassa and the Purcell School Symphony Orchestra will bring the stage to life with characteristic vibrancy and exuberance in a programme packed with dance-like rhythmic energy. Join them for a performance of Márquez’s Danzón, the modern Mexican classic inspired by a Cuban dance, the dazzling virtuosity and percussive South American rhythms of Ginastera’s Harp Concerto, and Rachmaninov’s iconic, exceptionally orchestrated Symphonic Dances. The Purcell School is one of the UKs leading specialist music schools; alumni include Oliver Knussen CBE, Catrin Finch and BBC Young Musician winners, Nicholas Daniel, Lara Melda, Martin James Bartlett, and Alexandra Ridout (Jazz Award).
