Our Festival Finale concludes with three works:

Composed 1780, Mozart's Vesperae solennes de confessore is a sacred choral work for choir and orchestra.

We are delighted to welcome back Savva Zverev for Weniawski's Violin Concerto No 2. Born in 1835, Wieniewski was a child prodigy and enjoyed a successful career as a soloist, composer and performer. His works are romantic in style, designed to showcase the skills of the performer.

Tchaikovsky's Symphony No 4, dedicated to his patron Nadezhda Von Meck, is a melodic symphony with a thoughtful first movement and rousing final movement, a great end to our week of music making.
