We are delighted to present a concert at Otford Methodist Church for Hospices of Hope which supports people with terminal or life-threatening illness in South East Europe.

We’ve chosen a programme of inspirational music designed to please all tastes. It features songs and anthems by some of Britain’s greatest composers such as Henry Purcell, William Byrd and the first female Master of the Queen’s Music, Judith Weir. Rarely heard gems from Europe by Fanny Mendelssohn (Felix Mendelssohn’s sister) and Clara Schumann (Robert Schumann’s wife) are also included along with cheeky French chansons and well-known English madrigals.

I look forward to welcoming you to an evening of magical music

Alan Vincent - conductor
