Where
Regent Hall (The Salvation Army), London
Tickets

  1. Harp Quintet - Sir Arnold Bax
  2. Panoply for flute and two harps - Richard Bissill
  3. Serenade for flute, violin, viola, cello and harp Op 30 - Albert Roussel

Presented by the Royal Academy of Music

The rarely-performed Harp Quintet by Bax is almost contemporary with Roussel's traditional 'French' harp quintet for flute, string trio and harp. These two major works flank the charming piece which Richard Bissill wrote in 2013 at the request of Skaila Kanga, Professor Emerita of Harp.
