Young Artists’ Platform: Yehudi Menuhin School

Thursday December 6, 2018 at 13:00
The Foundling Museum, London
Free with Museum admission
Tickets "at the door" - until sold out

Young musicians from the Yehudi Menuhin School perform a mixed programme of works for violin and piano in the Foundling Museum’s beautiful Picture Gallery.

The celebrated violinist Yehudi Menuhin was a perfect example of what Coram, Hogarth and Handel had in mind when they sought to bring together the creative arts and philanthropy. Menuhin founded his school in 1963 to provide a place for musically-gifted children from around the world to develop their talents to the highest level, within a nurturing and stimulating academic environment, regardless of their social or economic background.

In partnership with the Yehudi Menuhin School.
