Voces8 is delighted to present Sing Joyfully, a programme that celebrates the joy and beauty of voices in harmony. With music from the renaissance to jazz and pop, this concert shows Voces8 at its versatile best.

Sacred music from Byrd, Mendelssohn and Rachmaninov is followed by English and Italian madrigals, as well as Britten’s Hymn to St Cecilia, the colours and poetry of which come to life when performed by only eight voices.

You will also hear (and see!) some of the most popular of the group’s pop arrangements and a work from current Composer-in-Residence Jonathan Dove.

Part of Choral at Cadogan 2018-19.
