So Percussion: the name is Japanese, the performers are American but their music is universal. At the cutting edge of contemporary percussion, they are at home in minimalism, jazz, world music and dance, always pushing the boundaries with electrifying and innovative music-making. This concert’s programme will include music by two of their favourite composers – Steve Reich and Bryce Dessner – as well as a special performance in collaboration with students from Saffron Walden County High School.
