Alexander Scriabin's Ragtime Band: David Gordon Trio

The David Gordon Trio has appeared on BBC Radio 3, at King’s Place, Copenhagen’s Jazzhouse and in the London Jazz Festival; they are also regular performers at London’s 606 club. Their music is characterised by searingly beautiful melodies, free-flowing improvisation and quick-fire humour which is no more evident than in their recent project ‘Alexander Scriabin’s Ragtime Band’ which has received across-the-board praise from jazz critics around the world.

Inspired by the Russian pianist/composer genius, this remarkable trio has produced exquisite jazz interpretations of Scriabin's miniatures – his billets-doux to eternity - and of pieces by Debussy, Irving Berlin and WC Handy. Jazz will love truly outstanding performance.
