Friday August 17, 2018 at 13:00
Charlton House, London
Free admission – no ticket required

  3. 6 Romanian Folk Dances, for orchestra Sz 68 - Bela Bartók

Paola and Albert started their chamber music career in January 2012, playing together as a duo during their last year of Masters Degrees at the Royal Academy of Music in London. As they met, their elegant interpretation skills matched and they instantly shared musical ideas and interests.

More recently, Paola and Albert engaged in a long term-project, exporting an Italy inspired repertoire across the Asian continent and played in Hong Kong in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute and the General Consulate of Italy in February 2017.

Many other concerts have followed in Italy and the UK. The performance were described as a “great success” on the online review by Gli amici del Carlo Felice and the Apeiron Duo was asked to come back the following year.

In spring 2018 the duo is invited to perform at Le Moulin des Arts in Entrecasteaux, Provence, and the Senftöpfchen Theater in Cologne, where they will inaugurate the new classical music series at the theatre. In May, July and August they have a new series of concerts in London in beautiful venues including the Studio Sienko Galley, St Stephen Walbrook and the Charlton House. In October 2018 the duo will perform at the museums chamber season at Palazzo Spinola in Genoa, Italy, in a concert organised by the prestigious Giovine Orchestra Genovese.
