Bach: St John Passion | Southern Voices

Winchester-based choir Southern Voices are holding their next concert shortly before the start of Holy Week, an ideal time to hear Bach’s dramatic telling of the Easter Story, as set out in the Gospel of St John.

The choir is joined by a first-rate band of soloists, including bass-baritone Jamie W Hall singing the part of Christ and tenor Mark Wilde as the Evangelist. We are also delighted to be performing once more with Florilegium, one of the country’s most outstanding period orchestras.
