The acclaimed Colchester Chamber Choir returns to the Moot Hall in Colchester for an evening of captivating American choral music to celebrate Thanksgiving. Aaron Copland's hugely popular Old American Songs will start the evening's performance.

The concert will also include works by Samuel Barber, and Virgil Thomson, as well as the seldom performed settings of Emily Dickinson's poems by Elliott Carter - Heart not so Heavy and Musicians Wrestle Everywhere. Toby Hession, the 19 year old prize winning pianist will delight everyone with his rendition of Dance Episodes from Copland's quintessentially American Rodeo.

This is music with great tunes and rhythms offering a true taste of America that is sure to delight everyone.
