Antonia Vivaldi, the 'Red Priest' is well known not only for his flamboyant and evocative instrumental concertos, but also of course for the Gloria - a perennial flower in the choral garden. Alongside this he wrote a number of other sacred choral works including settings of the Magnificat and Dixit Dominus, which Monmouth Choral Society, with professional soloists and orchestra, will perfoem in theis Baroque celebration.
