The Amatis Piano Trio was founded in Amsterdam in 2014 by a German violinist, a British cellist and a Dutch/Chinese pianist. Only weeks after forming, the trio won the audience prize at the Grachtenfestival-Concours in Amsterdam, which quickly led to their debut at the Royal Concertgebouw. They now perform extensively throughout Europe and in 2015 won the International Parkhouse Competition at the Wigmore Hall.

"The Amatis Piano Trio is an outstanding ensemble on their way to establishing a great international career." Professor Daniel Hope (Beaux Arts Trio)

The second work in the progrmma will be an unpublished piano trio by Benjamin Britten
