Ely Cathedral invites you to celebrates Valentine’s weekend with a concert to remember by dazzling international concert pianist, Warren Mailley-Smith and special guests with a programme of virtuosity and romance. The Mendlessohn Piano Trio is one of the most astoundingly beautiful and electrifying pieces of music ever written and I am very excited to be performing with some incredible players in the beautiful setting of Ely Cathedral Octagon, by candlelight says Warren. Cello sensation Pavlos Carvalho will also perform the romantic Rachmaninov Cello Sonata, renowned for its formidable piano part and the beauty of the cello melodies. And the evening will be rounded off by the sublime voice of stunning soprano, Susan Parkes. All tickets include a complimentary glass of bubbly during the interval.
