Stile Antico is one of the world's most accomplished and innovative vocal ensembles. Working without a conductor, its twelve members have thrilled audiences throughout Europe and North America with their fresh, vibrant and moving performances of Renaissance polyphony.

To mark the 400th anniversary of the death of William Shakespeare, Stile Antico performs a mouthwatering programme of Elizabethan and Jacobean music. In addition to settings of words from Shakespeare’s plays, we encounter music written for the great events of his life or which explore some of the themes of his work.

The Wellington College Chapel Choir will bring their own freshness of performance to this concert as they perform with Stile Antico and on their own some Spanish Renaissance repertoire and the beautiful Stabat Mater by Pergolesi . Directed by Sean Farrell, this promises to be an unforgetable concert in Wellington's beautiful chapel, with subdued lighting.
