Jamie grew up in Somerset, and began playing the trombone with the legendary Alun Hutt, before being awarded a Scholarship to Wells Cathedral School. He is currently an undergraduate at the Royal Academy of Music, where he is the holder of the Rainer and Doreen Burchett Charitable Trust Prize, which he has held since 2016.
He is studying under Mark Templeton, Matt Gee, and Ian Bousfield at the RAM.
Lysandre Ménard is currently doing her master in piano accompaniment under the tutelator of Ian Brown at the Royal Academy of Music. She has recently graduated from Montreal Conservatory of music where she studied with the pianists André Laplante and Richard Raymond.
Lysandre won the second prize of Thousand Island International music competition for young pianist and finished in second place at the Julia Crane International Piano Competition in Potsdam New-York. She was finalist in the Canadian Music Competition (CMC) for the last 9 years.
She also participated in summer music festivals in Canada, Spain, Vienna, Banff and United States with several teachers like Benedetto Lupo, Jean-Philippe Collard, Julian Martin, Dominique Weber, Manfred Wagner Artz, Seta Tanyel, Marc Durand. She also made her cinema debut in the movie La passion d’Augustine directed by Lea Pool as one of the leading actresses.
