Six outstanding artists known for their spontaneity and vitality perform two masterpieces of the 19th Century and the World Premiere of 'March for the Royal Society of Musicians' by Ivor Novello Award-winning composer Anne Dudley. Virtuoso violinist Daniel Hope, winner of the 2015 European Cultural Prize for Music, performs at all the world’s greatest halls and festivals. Freddy Kempf is one of today’s most successful pianists performing to sell-out audiences all over the world. The Sacconi Quartet have a highly successful international career, and a prolific recording catalogue, with recent CDs listed in the Times Top 100 Albums of 2017 and Gramophone Recording of the Month.
This concert supports Britain's oldest musical charity, The Royal Society of Musicians, which offers support to musicians in financial or medical difficulty, and is generously supported by Russell Taylor Architects and the Oak Foundation.
