When: Saturday 10 February 2007 at 19:30
Where: Pitlochry Festival Theatre, Pitlochry
Performers: Katzenjammer, piano duo
Note: This musical comedy duo, who offer a unique brand of entertainment, make a very welcome return following their hugely successful debut here last year. Natural successors to Victor Borge, Flanders and Swann and Hinge & Bracket, Katzenjammer are Steven Worbey and Kevin Farrell, two classically trained pianists with a difference. Steven and Kevin blend spectacular piano gymnastics with great comic banter and timing, to produce arrangements of everything from Tchaikovsky and Liszt to Tequila and Gracie Fields. The resulting tangle of hands and arms on the keyboard is projected onto a large screen, so that their mesmerising display can be appreciated by all. You’ll never have seen a piano played like this before!

Wonderful wonderful stuff..and highly visual too - The Arts show, BBC Scotland.

...a brilliant show with sharp comic talent...both are blessed with a remarkable stage presence and innate gifts for comic timing...their gymnastics – there is no other word – at the keyboard are both funny and spectacular...will astonish, amuse and break down many a barrier. - Evening Standard.
