A rare chance to hear a virtuoso percussionist in combination with organ(s!). Eben's Landscapes of Patmos illustrate images from the Apocalypse (The Book of Revelations) written on the Isle of Patmos. Richard Lea is the Cathedral Organist and Terence Duffy is the Director of Music and former Cathedral Organist. The Organ Day Recital is part of the Liverpool Organ Day Series. This is an annual festival of organ music for the beginner and connoisseur alike. Three concerts in one day at three magnificent organ venues: The Anglican Cathedral, the Metropolitan Cathedral and St Margaret's Anfield. Refreshments are available from the Piazza restaurant at the bottom of the Cathedral steps which is usually open for Concerts at the Cathedral.
