An all American theme to celebrate American Independence day performed by the Coventry Youth orchestra. Programme includes Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue with Julian Hellaby on piano. Also West Side Story, Sandpaper ballet, a tribute to Frank Sinatra, theme from Dances with Wolves and, of course, Stars and Stripes for Ever. Lots of flag waving too - ideal concert to bring your children to, and get them to be inspired to play as well as these young musicians. |
