Note: Handel's magnificent oratorio vividly sets the Biblical tale of Israel's oppression in Egypt and the miraculous escape of the Israelites across the Red Sea in a tour de force of choral writing, which, in 1738, was on an exceptionally grand scale.

Joining Romsey Choral Society will be a distinguished group of soloists and the professional orchestra The Academy of St Thomas.
