Note: Leeds Town Hall hosts the longest-running conductors competition in Great Britain and is unique in offering the winner the superb opportunity to establish a professional conducting career through enagements with thirteen of the country's leading orchestras.

Sixteen entrants will compete for this prestigious prize plus £12,000 in prize money, with three finalists competing at the Gala Final Concert on Saturday 4 July, where the audience will also get the chance to vote for the winner of the Audience Prize.

Join the Jury; David Whelton (Chief Executive of the Philharmonia), Richard Farnes (Music Director, Opera North), Jac van Steen (Principal Guest Conductor of the BBC National Orchestra of Wales) and British violinist Tasmin Little, to be part of this fascinating and memorable week celebrating the talent of the future.
