Prom on The Close is the annual classical concert at Bristol's most stunning venue - Clifton College. With the school's magnificent buildings providing a wonderful backdrop, the concert this year features Natasha Marsh, one of the UK's most exciting opera singers. She will be supported by the highly accomplished tenor, Nicky Spence. The south west's leading orchestra, The Emerald Ensemble, will be providing wonderful music to support the artists, lead by the flamboyant conductor Jae Alexander. Also appearing will be the Clifton College choir and musicians, notably the renowned solo violinist Julia Hwang. The night ends with a magnificent firework display and is one of the most exciting nights of the social calendar in Bristol. |
