JAM returns to Scotland with a programme including a world premiere by Paul Mealor, Now Sleeps the Crimson Petal, commissioned by JAM. Accompanying Mealor’s work will be two Scottish premieres; Tarik O’Regan’s ethereal work The Night’s Untruth (JAM commission 2010) and Gabriel Jackson’s gripping The Spacious Firmament. The latter, (commissioned by JAM in 2008) won the choral category British Composer Award in 2009. The programme is completed by three thrilling works by James MacMillan.

This will be the first time that Scotland's premier university choirs have ever sung together.
