Rachmaninov’s All Night Vigil, often called Vespers, consists of fifteen separate sections liturgically covering the hours of Vespers, Matins and Prime. In our innovative arrangement, the different sections will be interspersed with international pianist Peter Donohoe performing a selection of Rachmaninov’s Preludes.
We’re also joined by Nigel Perrin’s City of Bath Bach Choir for this a capella concert; with a choir of 150, the Cathedral will resound with glorious music.
