Guitar recitals have always proved particularly popular with Stansted audiences and this year we are pleased to have booked one of the most exciting young guitarists of his generation, the Edinburgh-born Sean Shibe. Sean is the first guitarist to be admitted to the prestigious BBC New Generation Artists Scheme, and the only solo guitarist to have received a Borletti-Buitoni Fellowship. In May 2015 he was one of only three musicians to be admitted to the Young Classical Artist Trust (YCAT) out of 120 applicants for the year.
