Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra

We’re very pleased to welcome one of Poland’s most distinguished orchestras under their highly regarded Music Director Alexander Liebreich. He will open the concert with Wagner’s sensual Prelude and Liebestod from Tristan und Isolde, regarded by some as perhaps the most sensual piece of music ever composed.

This will be followed by Chopin’s deeply lyrical Piano Concerto No 1, and this romantic theme will reach a finale with Prokofiev’s musical evocation of the world’s most famous lovers – Romeo and Juliet. This concert provides some of the most romantic music ever written.
