  3. Symphony No 5 in C minor Op 67 - Ludwig van Beethoven

Once again the CSO - Cheltenham's Symphony Orchestra - returns to Pershore with a concert in aid of the Farmer's Overseas Action Group, a local Worcestershire based charity that works in Uganda. This same concert in 2014 was a sell-out so it would be a wise move to obtain your tickets as soon as possible.

Come and hear this astounding orchestra under their inspirational conductor, David Curtis. Sparkling in Smetana's overture to the Bartered Bride and then beautifully restrained in the Clarinet concerto of Mozart, when the orchestra will be joined by Sally Harrop (principal clarinet of the Orchestra of the Swan). Finally Beethoven's fifth symphony, regarded by many as an old war-horse but, in fact, nothing of the kind. Rely on the CSO to bring a fresh and invigorating approach to this famous work.

It will, without shadow of a doubt, be a memorable evening of music making.
