The European Union Chamber Orchestra has established itself as a firm favourite with Corn Exchange audiences and makes a welcome return this season with a concert to savour. Holst's St Paul's Suite is a towering masterpiece of Western Culture. Hear the European Union Chamber Orchestra bring it dazzlingly to life. Emma Johnson is a soloist par excellence; her performance of Mozart's Clarinet Concerto promises to be vivacious, delicate and an absolute delight. Grieg's Two Elegaic Melodies show the composer at his most intensely lyrical. The evening ends superbly, with Mozart's Symphony No 33 which brims with playful brilliance from the first bar to the finale.
