Serenade your loved one this year on Valentine’s Day with an evening of romance and virtuosity in the spectacular setting of Ely Cathedral by candlelight, with outstanding british concert pianist, Warren Mailley-Smith and stunning international soprano, Susan Parkes. Accompanied by a string quintet of young rising stars, the audience will be treated to a varied selection of popular classics, arias and tangos, culminating in a performance of Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No 5, ‘The Emperor’. With a glass of interval bubbly included, the evening promises to entertain and enthral with more than a drop of romantic sparkle! The performance will be projected live around the cathedral on screens to ensure every seat has an upclose view of the soloists.
