  3. Schrumpf-Symphonie Op 80 - Kurt Schwertsik
  4. Symphony No 8 in F Op 93 - Ludwig van Beethoven

Three emblematic works from the Classical era contrast with Schwerstik’s witty 1999 ‘take’ on music of that time; a symphony in miniature which was written for exactly the same instrumentation as Beethoven’s Op 93. Another symphony of the same era, Schubert’s‘Unfinished’ will be played on 14 November

The only access for Crypt Concerts is through the underground car park. Doors normally open at 7pm and interval refreshments are available. There will be a charge of £3 to use the Cathedral car park. This will be collected at the entrance gate.

Access for the disabled: The Crypt is accessible using the lift situated in the Rotunda, via the underground car park shown. Toilets are located at Crypt level.
