A Great and Glorious Victory, by Jonathan Willcocks, was commissioned by Portsmouth Choral Union in 2005 to mark the bicentenary of the battle of Trafalgar. It uses the same combination of soloists and instruments that Haydn used for his 'Nelson' Mass, and is a fine compliment to what is one of Haydn's greatest works.
