This year, in addition to the usual seasonal mix of old and new choral music, we celebrate three 300th anniversaries - the births of Gottfried Homilius (leading North German master in the generation after JS Bach) and Niccolo Jommelli (famous in late-Baroque Rome), and the death of Tommaso Bai, all of which took place in 1714
