Ronan Magill, having recently returned from teaching and lecturing at Ferris University in Yokohama Japan, will be talking about his experiences, as well as introducing and performing some favourite works in his repertoire. As the centenery of Scriabin approaches, he will be playing that composer's beautifully evocative Sonata-Fantasy No 2 Op 19 which describes the moods of the sea, and concluding with the moving and emotionally powerful 'Vallee d'Obermann' by Liszt.
