This concert is the 12th annual orchestral concert bringing together professional and semi-professional musicians from the West Midlands to form the Inkberrow Sinfonia and including a guest soloist for the major work. Proceeds from the concert go to the Chernobyl Children’s Project charity (South Worcestershire branch) and to the ongoing restoration of the parish church of Inkberrow. The Chernobyl Children’s Project charity plays host to children and their carers each summer from the contaminated area of Belarus, to give the children a good holiday and help to improve their health, as well as helping fund projects in Belarus.

The Parish Church of St Peter is in need of major restoration including repairs to the ceiling of the nave. Funds from last year's and this year's concerts will be going towards the replacement of lead panels on the north aisle roof following theft and other damage and also the nave ceiling.
