Classical Opera returns to Barbican Hall with a performance of Mozart's immortal Requiem, and an outstanding line-up of Britain's leading singers: Sophie Bevan, Sarah Connolly, John Mark Ainsley and Darren Jeffrey.

The unfinished Requeim will be performed in the familiar completion of Mozart's student Franz Süssmayr, and partnered with Schubert's timeless 'Unfinished' Symphony', and the thrilling period-instrument timbres of The Orchestra of Classical Opera promise ravishing new colours and insights into these two monumental masterpieces.

The Schubert will be prefaced by Haydn's viscerally dynamic motet Insanea et vanea curae, and the Mozart, by Cherubini's startlingly extrovert Marche funèbre.

The concert will be preceded by a pre-performance talk in the Fountain Room, from 6.30pm.
