Ana Sinkovec is a four-time masters graduate from conservatoires in Ljubljana, Brussels, Bergamo and Paris, and has studied with many eminent teachers, including Eugen Indjic, Dmitri Bashkirov, Vladimir Ogarkov, Karl-Heinz Kammerling.

Ana is the recipient of international prizes, including 1st prize at the Nikolai Rubinstein International Competition in Paris, and the highest award for Student Achievement in Culture in Slovenia in 2004 for performance of Tchaikovsky's 1st Piano Concerto with the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra. She has since performed concertos with Slovenian orchestras and international ensembles. In 2011 Ana recorded Respighi's Fantasia Slava and the Markevich Piano Concerto with the Slovenian RTV Symphony Orchestra. Recently, Ana performed Shostakovich's Piano Concerto no. 1 and Scriabin's Piano Concerto in Ljubljana, Beethoven's Piano Concerto No 4 and Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No 2 in London at St John's Smith Square, this March she made her debut with the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra and next year is scheduled to perform Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No 3 in UK. Her solo US debut is scheduled in November 2015.
As a solo and chamber artist Ana is participating at international music festivals. Recent highlight was the invitation to play at the inaugural Gilels Festival in Freiburg.

Ana was named a Leverhulme Artist at the Trinity Laban Conservatoire in September 2013. She enjoys teaching and encouraging young musicians to develop their personalities and become proud advocates of classical music.
Ana also holds a Master Degree in Translation Studies from the Faculty of Arts in Ljubljana.
