This concert brings together two of the most exciting and creative young quartets based in the UK. The RNCM-trained Navarra Quartet are joined in their second visit to MCCS by the Sacconi Quartet, formed at the RCM, now with a busy diary of concerts in the UK and abroad as well as their own annual music festival and record label.

The two quartets gave their first concerts together in the spring of 2008 culminating in a sell-out concert at the Wigmore Hall.
