The opening concert of the main Festival combines the Baroque excitement of Handel's Coronation Anthem The King shall Rejoice with the Classical elegance of Schubert's tuneful Mass in C. The programme also includes music by a living composer, in Cecilia McDowall's delightful Ave Maris Stella. Cecilia will be our special guest that evening.
