World premiere of Roxanna Panufnik's Schola Missa de Angelis, the first new plainsong Mass setting of note for nearly fifty years. Specially commissioned for The London Oratory School Schola, it is based on the original 9th century plainsong Mass and is scored for choir accompanied by brass octet. The evening features other works for choir and brass by Ives, Bruckner and Gabrieli. The Schola was recently described by Choir and Organ Magazine as one of the best boys' choirs in the world.

This concert is presented by the Schola Foundation, a registered charity which supports the work of the 50 strong boys' choir.
