Seats will surely be at a premium for an appearance by living legend Gustav Leonhardt, who was an early music pioneer when such a movement was all but embryonic.

He joins forces with another leading light of period performing, violinist Elizabeth Wallfisch, who will lead her Wallfisch Band in a programme of classics. Selections from three Rameau operas should send all away with smiles on faces.
