Tosca - Giacomo Puccini
Entry to the grounds is available from 3.30pm. The performance begins at 5.20pm. Online booking is available from 16th February. Melodramma in three acts. Sung in Italian with surtitles.
The opera singer Floria Tosca is devoted to her painter lover Mario Cavaradossi. The chief of police will do anything to win her. He throws Cavaradossi into jail for harbouring a political activist and does a deal with Tosca. For everyone, the consequences are terrible. The designer is Peter McKintosh with lighting design by Peter Mumford.
