She recently covered Ariel in The Tempest at the Metropolitan Opera, New York for the opera's debut in that house, composer Thomas Adès conducting. She also covered this role for the Royal Opera House, and will be doing the same for the Vienna Staatsoper in their upcoming production of this opera. Ms. Meloy made her Royal Opera House Covent Garden debut as Queen of Night in Die Zauberflöte, a role she has sung with English National Opera, Welsh National Opera, and Opera North.
