Unknown Elgar - From the Bavarian Highlands and Sea Pictures

Explore with conductors Gavin Carr and Jason Thornton the not-so-often performed works of one of our greatest British composers: Sir Edward Elgar. South West Festival Chorus offers a chance to experience all the charm and nostalgia of Elgar’s delightful part songs, including From the Bavarian Highlands with piano accompaniment, plus á capella songs including O Happy Eyes, The Snow and Go, Song of Mine etc. The programme is completed by a performance of Elgar’s beautiful Sea Pictures, sung by upcoming mezzo Catia Moreso. A unique view of Sir Edward, all this in the elegant surroundings of Bath Pump Room.
