Singing for Silver! Reading Phoenix Choir

Reading Phoenix Choir is delighted to present this concert in aid of St Wilfrid's Hospice. Reading Phoenix Choir is a 50-strong mixed voice choir of exceptional quality. Recent category finalists in BBC Radio 3 Choir of the Year 2010, they have toured the UK and abroad extensively over the past 43 years. Phoenix is a dynamic and vibrant choir, amateur only by definition, with a strong commitment to excellence in choral singing. The music is always varied and sung completely from memory, the better to focus on the performance. Expect to hear 16th century madrigals, impressive anthems and modern jazz, folk and popular songs - something for everyone!

Funds raised from the concert will go to the beloved local charity St Wilfrid's Hospice to support their fantastic work.
