Kevin Kenner's achievements - which include being awarded 1st prize at the Warsaw International Chopin Piano Competition in 1990 - have won him ciritical acclaim throughout the world. He has been praised as "one of the finest American pianists to come along in years" Howard Reich, Chicago Tribune.

This season’s activities include concerts with Franz Bruggen and the Orchestra of XVIII Century, performances and recording sessions with the Ensemble XIX, a Chopin recital on an 1826 Graf at the Cité de la musique in Paris, concerts and recording celebrating Paderewski’s 150th birthday, and concert tours in Japan, USA, Mexico, Canada, Germany, France, Britain and Poland.

Our piano is a fine 1975 Steinway Model B Grand, bought for the famous Polish virtuoso Witold Malcuzynski. It has been completely reconditioned and is maintained by Steinways who tune it immediately before each recital.

After the concert we offer an informal high tea finger buffet reception. Kevin Kenner will attend and you can meet him. It's also a good opportunity to talk with other audience members and make friends. High tea consists of a selection of freshly-made sandwiches (with both vegetarian and meat fillings); warm savouries such as quiches, mini-pasties and sausages; pork pies, cheese straws, home-made cakes, chocolate biscuits etc. We also serve wine, tea, coffee or juice. Tickets for the reception are £6, or just £4 for students.
