Vox Coelestis, conducted by ex-Westminster Abbey organist Iain Simcock, is a chamber choir which exists purely to raise funds for charities. The members sing in the country's top cathedral and chamber choirs, but come together once or twice a year to perform purely for charitable causes.

This concert is in aid of Kate's Home Nursing, a palliative care organisation which nurses patients in their own home through the last stage of illness and supports their families. It is centred in an area of the North Cotswolds, where the rural locality reduces the ability of the larger national charities to help. Kate's Home Nursing fills this gap in provision with its high quality 'hospice at home' care.
